Tuesday June 18 – Knysna Elephant Park & Radical Raptors

Instead of posting all the photos from our Plettenberg Bay trip at one time, I’m going to try and split it up into days like I have been. That way, it will be easier for me to keep up with and also easier to read since they’ll be shorter posts.

So, we left around 10AM on Tuesday to make the 2ish hour drive to Plett. Our first stop was at the Knysna Elephant Park. I can’t remember the exact number, but they had about 10 elephants that wandered around the park’s premises. A jeep took us out to one of the park’s feeding stations where we could feed the elephants. This involved holding a piece of fruit in your hand and the elephant grabbing it with his/her trunk. It was interesting, but it is also strange to see how tame the animals can become. When we were out of food…
